Woodsworth Housing Co-operative Inc. is a federally funded nonprofit housing co-op located in Toronto’s historic St. Lawrence Neighbourhood, just steps from the St. Lawrence Market.

Our purpose is to provide secure and affordable housing at cost, without profit, and to give members real control over how their housing community is run.

We share a commitment to co-operative values, mutual respect, and community participation.

Rentals, including Airbnb, are not permitted.

Homestarts Incorporated, a non-profit organization dedicated, in part, to training.

Homestarts provides management services to over 90 co-operatives and non-profit housing providers across Ontario covering over 7,000 households. They are the largest provider of management and other services to housing co-ops in Ontario.

We, the membership of Woodsworth Housing Co-op, have been notified that Homestarts has been given
"...60 days' notice of the termination of our contract with them". In their one-page letter to us, our Board of Directors was very diplomatic about our experience with Homestarts.
